Our history begins back in 2014 when we formed as a small community of like-minded volunteers called "Frontova aptechka" a name that continues to represent us to this day.
From the early days of the war, there was a great need for tactical first aid kits, which were extremely difficult to find in Ukraine. After in-depth research on the topic, we started assembling kits that met NATO standards, using components exclusively from renowned global manufacturers of tactical medical supplies. This activity continues to this day because, unfortunately, the need for tactical gear and medical kits is constant.
In 2014, following the arrival of the first injured soldiers in the unit we were supporting, we began addressing the issues of medical support and rehabilitation for fighters. We established agreements with both Ukrainian and foreign hospitals for surgical operations, treatment, and rehabilitation for our soldiers. Subsequently, we incorporated psychotherapeutic rehabilitation through the SETA program, provided by specialists from the psychotherapeutic rehabilitation center at NaUKMA. We worked not only with fighters and veterans but also with their family members.
By the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2023, we already had eight years of experience in assisting soldiers, and we knew exactly what was needed during active combat operations. Therefore, our actions and the collection of humanitarian aid were primarily directed towards supporting and providing for volunteers and military personnel who were holding back the enemy, as well as civilians in need of food and medical supplies in Kyiv from February to April 2023. More friends and caring individuals joined us, both in Ukraine and abroad, and we organized an additional humanitarian warehouse. Initially, we met the needs of soldiers and volunteers defending Kyiv, and after the reorganization of the fighters into various security structures, we continue to assist different units defending the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine in various parts of the country.
A little later, in the summer of 2022, we decided to register a charitable foundation called "Dobro Diie"which is translated from Ukrainian as "Goodness acts". Our goal goes beyond just medical rehabilitation and provision of tactical medicine. Our objectives also include additional support projects for military and civilian personnel, reconstruction of medical facilities and residential buildings damaged during Russia's military aggression, and other social and humanitarian initiatives. Our motto is: Goodnness must be active. Goodness in action. That's why we chose the name "Dobro Diie" (Goodness acts) for our foundation. We act every day, step by step, towards our victory and systemic improvements in our country πΊπ¦!
We express our gratitude to everyone who has supported our community and foundation throughout these long nine years. Together, we move forward towards our victory ππ!
We are open to collaboration and always delighted to welcome new donors and volunteers who help us multiply the impact of our good deeds β€οΈ.
